About timenow.click
timenow.click is a free, simple world clock. It shows the exact time where you are and in every country and major city, and helps you work out the time difference between any two places.
How the times are calculated
Your local time comes from the clock and time zone settings on your own device. Times for other places are calculated in your browser using the IANA time zone database (also called the tz database), the standard used by computers and phones worldwide. It includes every country's daylight saving rules, so clock changes are applied automatically.
Because everything is worked out on your device, the site is fast and doesn't need to know where you are. We don't ask for your location and don't store your searches.
What you can do
- See your local time to the second, with your time zone and UTC offset.
- Search any country or city. Countries with several time zones show all of them.
- Compare two places and convert a time from one to the other.
- Open a page for 247 countries and territories and 192 major cities, with time zone details and daylight saving dates.
Accuracy
The times shown are only as accurate as your device's clock. Most phones and computers set their clock automatically over the internet, which keeps it within a fraction of a second. Time zone rules occasionally change by government decision; these updates reach you through browser and system updates.
